Youth unemployment ratio by sex, age and NUTS 2 regions ta_wrklab_lab_unemploy_inter_age__yth_empl_140

Time format:
Years
Unit:
% of relevant total population (comparable)
Description:
The youth unemployment ratio has the same numerator as the youth unemployment rate, but the denominator is the total population aged 15 to 24. It thus gives an unemployment-to-population measure. The size of the youth labour market (i.e. the size of the young labour force) does not trigger effects in the youth unemployment ratio, contrary to the unemployment rate.
Keywords:
employed, employment, inequalities, inequality, labor market, labour market, unemployed, unemployment, work, young people, youth, youth unemployment
