Description:

This indicator shows the percentage of women among all authors of scientific and academic publications.

The data refer to the five-year period ending in the reference year shown (e.g., the period represented by reference year 2022 is the five-year period 2018-2022).

The indicator is computed separately for authors working on two of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, SDG-8 ('Decent work and economic growth') and SDG-12 ('Responsible consumption and production').
