Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of women who have experienced sexual or physical violence by a domestic perpetrator during adulthood.

Data for Italy (IT) is flagged ‘d’ because it is based on the 2014 National Violence Against Women survey.
