Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of ever-partnered women who have experienced intimate partner violence during their lifetime and reported the violence to the following type of person or support service:

  • A close person
  • Health or social service
  • Support service
  • Police
  • Any person or service
  • Health, social or support services, or police
