Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of women who have experienced sexual violence during childhood, and reported the violence to the following type of person or support service:

  • Any person or service
  • Official body (support/health/social service or police or someone in school)
  • Unofficial (friends, family member or someone else)
