Description:

The data in this table are based on the surveys EUROBAROMETER 83.4 (May 2015), EUROBAROMETER 91.4 (May 2019), and EUROBAROMETER 99.2 (April-May 2023). The data show what percentage of all respondents have selected each answer when asked the question "If you were the victim of discrimination or harassment, to whom would you prefer to report your case?"

From the 2015 to the 2019 survey, the following changes were made to the answer options.

  • The following options were removed in 2019: “Tribunals”
  • The following options were added in 2019: “A friend or family member”; “Courts”; “A dispute resolution system”

From 2019 to 2023, the following amendments were made:

  • “NGO’s – associations” was changed to “NGOs or associations”.
  • “An equalities body or ombudsman opportunities organisation” was changed to “an equality body or ombudsperson”.

For 1 Member State (PL), data from the 2023 survey are not available for the option ‘Other (Spontaneous)’.
