This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.
This indicator shows the percentage of women who are aware, or not aware, of the existence of support services for victims of violence in their country. It shows data for respondents who are victims and non-victims of violence.
Data for Bulgaria (BG) is flagged ‘d’ because the definition of support services is not fully comparable with other countries. The country used ‘112 EU Emergency number’ in the question on knowledge of specific free of charge helplines available 24/7.
