Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of women who have experienced the following consequences due to experiences of stalking:

  • Changed telephone number/ email address or closed social network
  • Implemented protecting measures (e.g., changed usual route, carried a knife or pepper spray, etc.)
  • Moved to another residence or changed working or studying
