Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of ever-partnered women whose most recent experience of intimate partner violence occurred:

  • In the 12 months prior to the interview 
  • In the 5 years prior to the interview 
  • During adulthood
