Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of ever-partnered women who have experienced threats, physical violence, or sexual violence by an intimate partner during their lifetime. It distinguishes between respondents who have experienced these forms of violence once, and those who have experienced them repeatedly.
