Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of ever-partnered women who have experienced intimate partner violence during their lifetime, by level of education. It presents data for respondents with the following levels of education:

  • Less than primary, primary and lower secondary education 
  • Upper secondary and post-secondary non-tertiary education 
  • Tertiary education
