Calculations are based on microdata from the EUROBAROMETER 85.3 survey (June 2016), coordinated by the European Commission. The survey aims to represent the resident population of all persons aged 15 or older.
The question considered is question QB4b from the EUROBAROMETER 85.3 survey: Did you speak to anyone about knowing a victim of any form of domestic violence? 1 To the people involved; 2 To the police; 3 To a public or independent support service; 4 To a health professional; 5 To a friend or a family member; 6 To another person or service; 7 No.
For each response category, the indicator is calculated as the percentage of persons who answered the question using this response category out of all respondents who were asked to respond to this question.
