Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of women who believe that intimate partner violence is:

  • Very common in their country
  • Fairly common in their country
  • Not very common in their country
  • Not common at all in their country

It shows data for respondents who are victims or non-victims of intimate partner violence during their lifetime.
