Calculations are based on microdata from the EUROBAROMETER 85.3 survey (June 2016), coordinated by the European Commission. The survey aims to represent the resident population of all persons aged 15 or older.
The question considered is question QB2 from the EUROBAROMETER 85.3 survey: In general, how common do you think that domestic violence against men is in your country? 1 Very common; 2 Fairly common; 3 Not very common; 4 Not at all common; 5 Don't know.
For each response category, the indicator is calculated as the percentage of persons who answered the question using this response category out of all respondents who were asked to respond to this question.
