Description:

The Flash Eurobarometer survey on Women in times of COVID-19 was commissioned by the European Parliament to gather women’s opinions on the impact of the pandemic on violence against women, mental health, and the wellbeing of working women. The survey was undertaken in January/February 2022 and covered 26,741 women aged 15 or over living in the EU Member States.

This indicator shows the extent to which these women felt that the COVID-19 pandemic led to an increase or decrease in physical and emotional violence against women. The data is expressed as a proportion (%) of respondents and includes a breakdown by age when respondents completed their education.
