Description:

This indicator presents data from the EU survey on gender-based violence against women and other forms of inter-personal violence (EU-GBV survey). The first wave of this survey was conducted jointly by Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA between September 2020 and March 2024.

This indicator shows the percentage of women who have experienced violence by non-partner since the age of 15 years, by age group. It presents data for respondents in the following age groups:

18 to 74 years
18 to 29 years
30 to 44 years
45 to 64 years
65 to 74 years

Data for Italy (IT) is flagged ‘d’ because it is based on the 2014 National Violence Against Women survey.
