Existence of training programmes to raise awareness of GRPP amongst staff of public procurement bodies genmain_eqpol_grpp_awareness__grpp_training

Time format:
Years
Unit:
Yes/No (comparable)
Description:

This indicator assesses whether employees of public procurement bodies are trained on matters relating to GRPP. Researchers identified any existing formal and/or regular training programmes delivered to staff of public procurement bodies. Relevant training in this area may focus on:

  • Improving general awareness of GRPP.
  • Ensuring that staff comply with existing gender equality/mainstreaming requirements in their work.

Information on internal staff training on GRPP may not be published online or publicly available. Often, webpages do not provide information on specific trainings being conducted within institutions, which could limit the accuracy of response.

The findings presented for Member States are based on a combination of desk research, and interviews with public procurement authorities (except in Czech Republic and Luxembourg where no interviews were possible). The data collected for Austria, Lithuania, Portugal, and Romania also incorporates information from an interview with a gender equality body.
