Description:

The data shows the average score that respondents assigned when asked the question: “Q12. I am going to read four statements. Could you please tell me to what extent you agree or disagree with each statement on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means that you do not agree at all and 10 means you completely agree.”

The statements were:

  • In most ways my life is close to my ideal
  • The conditions of my life are excellent
  • So far, I have gotten the important things I want in life
  • If I could live my life over, I would change almost nothing
Results are presented at the EU28-level and for the following country-clusters:

  • North-western: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Kingdom
  • Southern: Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain
  • Eastern: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia
  • Nordic: Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden
