Description:

This indicator shows the regularity of work via online platforms.

This indicator is in response to the question ‘How regularly did you work via online platforms’? Respondents could select one of the following options:

  • I worked only once or several times and then stopped
  • I worked irregularly or occasionally, from time to time
  • I worked regularly for a period of less than 3 months
  • I worked regularly for a period of more than 3 months

This indicator is disaggregated by the education level of the respondent. Responses were grouped into three levels of education according to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED): “Low” (ISCED 1-2), “Medium” (ISCED 3-4) and “High” (ISCED 5-8).

ISCED levels are:

  • 1. Primary education or less
  • 2. Lower secondary education or equivalent level
  • 3. Secondary education (e.g. high school)
  • 4. Post-secondary education non-tertiary (e.g. technical education lasting minimum 6 months)
  • 5. Short-cycle tertiary (e.g. advanced vocational education lasting minimum 2 years)
  • 6. University: Bachelor’s or equivalent level
  • 7. University: Master’s or equivalent level
  • 8. University: Doctoral (PhD) or equivalent level
