Distribution (%) of regular platform workers by sex, by education eige_pw_intens__pws_pws_regular_edu

Time format:
Years
Unit:
Percentage (comparable)
Description:

The indicator shows the sex-disaggregation of regular platform workers who have worked on digital platforms at least occasionally in the past 6 months. Working at least occasionally aggregates three answer categories: 'I worked irregularly or occasionally, from time to time’, ‘I worked regularly for a period of less than three months’ and ‘I worked regularly for a period of more than three months’.

This indicator is disaggregated by the education level of the respondent. Responses were grouped into three levels of education according to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED): “Low” (ISCED 1-2), “Medium” (ISCED 3-4) and “High” (ISCED 5-8).

ISCED levels are:

  • 1. Primary education or less
  • 2. Lower secondary education or equivalent level
  • 3. Secondary education (e.g. high school)
  • 4. Post-secondary education non-tertiary (e.g. technical education lasting minimum 6 months)
  • 5. Short-cycle tertiary (e.g. advanced vocational education lasting minimum 2 years)
  • 6. University: Bachelor’s or equivalent level
  • 7. University: Master’s or equivalent level
  • 8. University: Doctoral (PhD) or equivalent level
