This indicator shows on the of impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on work arrangements via online platforms.

The indicator is based on responses to the question: Has the COVID-19 pandemic or related policy measures (e.g., lockdowns, quarantine, closures of businesses, schools, etc.) impacted your work via online platforms? Respondents could select one from the following list:

  • Yes, because of it I started or re-started working via online platforms
  • Yes, because of it I worked more hours via online platforms
  • Yes, because of it I worked fewer hours via online platforms
  • Yes, because if it I stopped working on online platforms
  • No

Shown only to respondents who worked via online platforms in the past 12 months.

This indicator is disaggregated by the employment status of respondent. Employment status are: employed; self-employed; unemployed; and inactive.
