Description:

This dataset shows what percentage (%) of all respondents provide childcare to their own children (including step-children and adopted children), other children (including grandchildren, children-in-law, siblings, cousins, other relatives, friends, neighbours), or both.

This indicator is disaggregated by household type. For the purposes of this indicator, five household types are distinguished:

  • Single without children
  • Lone parents or single cohabiting with children
  • In a couple without children
  • In a couple cohabitating with children
  • Other
