Description:

This dataset shows how often in a typical week informal long-term care providers provide such care. The numbers indicate what percentage (%) of all people involved in informal long-term care have selected each frequency category.

Long-term care refers to a range of supportive services and medical assistance provided to individuals who require extended or ongoing help with activities of daily living, for a minimum of three months.

Respondents selected one frequency category from the following list:

  • Every day
  • 4 to 6 days a week
  • 1 to 3 days a week
  • Less often
