This indicator looks at the proportion of women that have experienced domestic violence at any time in adulthood with a breakdown by level of disability (activity limitation).
Note that the original definition of the indicator refers to women that have been victims of domestic violence perpetrated by a current or former spouse or intimate partner or other family member but the available data cover any perpetrator living in the same household as the victim at the time of the incident. This could include non-family (unrelated) perpetrators and therefore represents a slightly wider definition of domestic violence.
